Tribuna
We help you to draw up the best route for getting to the Hotel.
The Hotel Tribuna is located across from the Tribuna de los Pobres, right in the historic centre of Málaga. We are next to the Guadalmedina River, which is the backbone of the city of Málaga, so we are just a stone?s throw from the city?s main tourist attractions: Marqués de Larios Street, the Picasso Museum, the Alameda, Plaza de la Merced, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba and Malagueta beach.
The hotel is also near the shopping district, the high-speed train station and the bus terminal.
Everyone in Málaga knows why it is called the Tribuna de los Pobres: during Easter week the brotherhoods tend to finance their activities by renting chairs along the stretches where the processions go by. Right across from the hotel, at the beginning of Carretería Street, there is a large staircase where you can catch perfect views of the goings-on. This site is highly prized by Málaga natives because you can wait there sitting down without having to pay the price of a chair: hence the name Tribuna de los Pobres (Tribune of the Poor), the hotel?s namesake as well.
