The Hotel Riosol de León is perfectly situated in front of the train station and some 150 metres from the bus station. We enjoy a riverside location which is just 500 metres from the old quarter of the historical city of León.
In just a twelve-minute walk, our guests cover an area which includes all the city's major attractions: the Gothic Cathedral, the Romanesque Basilica of San Isidoro, the Plaza Mayor, the Palacio de Guzmanes, the Caja España exhibition hall, the Monastery of San Marcos, the Casa Botines de Gaudí, the Auditorium, the León Arena, the MUSAC and the stadium.
Sporty types particularly appreciate the fact that we are located right by the river and near to Quevedo Park. These are the city's favourite spots for jogging.
Among the many attractions in the city, the Hotel Riosol has two special recommendations: visit the cathedral at night (the windows are lit up beautifully until 2 am) and the recently-restored Romanesque frescos of the Basilica de San Isidoro, acclaimed worldwide as the "Sistine Chapel of Romanesque art".
