Eurostars Hotels is to open its fourth roman hotel in 2010
11/11/2009 During the first quarter of 2010, Eurostars Hotels will be opening the
Eurostars Roma Aeterna 4*, its fourth establishment in Rome and fifth
in Italy. The Eurostars Roma Aeterna**** occupies the hundred-year-old
site of the Serono pharmaceutical company, located in the Pigneto
district. This emblematic building has been completely refurbished to
turn it into a high-class hotel with, amongst other facilities, 144
guestrooms, including 9 suites, nearly 700 square metres in reception
rooms, a fitness gym with sauna and a gourmet restaurant, lined in
Travertine marble, column-free and which opens out onto a terrace of
over 200 square metres.
In its decidedly functional interior
decoration, the choice has been for a carefully selected combination of
modern materials, such as stainless steel and glass with the softness
of velvet-like textiles and the elegance of furniture in rosewood or
the Travertine marble used for the bathrooms. The range of colours
predominant in the hotel décor includes aubergine, chocolate and gold;
the colours in which the Eternal City of Rome is clad. The rooms are
dominated by paintings set above the bedrest, with images of the city’s
most representative spots and buildings.
The hotel’s seven
meeting or reception rooms, going from 28 to 245 square metres, offer
modern facilities for the organization of events of all types, from
small business meetings to big social functions such as weddings and
banquets.
At the present time, Eurostars Hotels runs the
following hotels in the Italian capital: the Eurostars International
Palace, the Eurostars Domus Aurea, in addition to the Eurostars
Toscana, in Lucca. With this new opening, the Spanish company is
reinforcing its firm backing of Italy as a strategic destination for
international expansion. Italy was, in fact, the first country where
Eurostars marked up its first establishment outside Spain.
