The Hotel Área Central is different to all the other hotels you have known. There are hotels in the midst of nature, right in the heart of town, motorway hotels... our hotel is nestled in the heart of a shopping district. That?s right: a hotel located in the biggest retail district of Galicia, or more accurately, the largest multipurpose complex in northern Spain, which houses 150 shops, 50 business offices, more than 600 homes and a hotel.
Still, it is also a hotel drenched with light, surrounded by nature because the sun shines through the large oval-shaped windows of the building: there?s a reason why the Área Central is called the longest glass-lined street in Europe. Our hotel is surrounded by green zones and boulevards where the locals go to play sports, stroll and enjoy spacious, relaxing areas.
The breakfast buffet is served in the large salon with views of the Carlo Magno Park. The hotel has its own restaurant, although it is not strictly necessary since more than 20 restaurants featuring varied cuisines are easily within reach right inside the large shopping centre. Here you can find everything from pizzerias, tapas and Lebanese food to outstanding restaurants offering traditional Galician fare, like the Pulperia A Feira (serving octopus) and the Mesón A Roda.
The hotel has a light-drenched, modern meeting room measuring 70 square metres and holding up to 80 people.

Set in the heart of the countryside, in a cultivated, garden area of 65 hectares (with 10 hectares of lawn, over 12,000 trees and bushes, a huge, artificial lake and an auditorium to seat an audience of 40,000 people), Monte do Gozo has enormous facilities to cater for large groups and families, with supermarkets, children?s playgrounds, swimming pool, souvenir shops, laundry service, animation, etc. More than a hotel, Monte do Gozo is a little city in itself with a hotel, a hostel and a camping site with bungalows.
Monte do Gozo Holiday City has capacity to take up to 3,000 visitors and, in fact, is the only establishment in Galicia capable of housing so many visitors. In addition, it offers restaurant service to cater for them all.All the Monte de Gozo complex is a pedestrian area. Our guests particularly enjoy the birdsong in the early mornings and the possibility of doing sports or walking through the countryside that surrounds us. In this Monte do Gozo Holiday City setting, many important events have been held, such as the Cross-Country World Championship or concerts given by world-famous artists of the likes of Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones, the Cure, Maná or the Red Hot Chile Peppers, amongst many others.

Directly linked to the Palacio de Congresos (Business Center) and situated at the point where the pilgrim reaches his finishing-line, Eurostars San Lázaro is the best touristic and business option for a hotel.
Eurostars San Lázaro is a modern hotel, open since 2004, and placed in the quietest areas in Santiago de Compostela. In a sandwich like situation we are between the Galician Palacio de Congresos and Exposiciones (Business centre) and the San Lázaro football stadium. It is a quiet place nearby Carlomagno Park.
Eurostars San Lázaro has priviledged road accesses. We are placed very near the road communicating A Coruña and Tui and we also count with the easiest and even nearer accesses to the Atlantic highway which links A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela, Pontevedra and Vigo.
It is through this road that the pilgrim reaches his final part of the French way when coming to Santiago de Compostela. The Old part of Santiago de Compostela is two kilometers away from us. In front of the hotel there is a bus stop that can take you to the city centre every twenty minutes or to Lavacolla airport every thirty minutes.
The hotel has a restaurant, a complete and varied buffet for breakfasts, meeting rooms, business centre, formal dinner rooms and a cafè. We also have a parking with direct access to the rooms, free outdoor parking, possibilities for buses to park, handicapped people accesses and laundry. There is also a place to keep bicycles available.
